Andrew Hartsmith

Andrew, born in Annapolis, Maryland, spent much of his life traveling and living in numerous places such as Scotland, England, and Cambodia. In the over forty countries he’s been, he delved deep into the history, stories, and legends of these places. After earning two master’s degrees he returned to the States and worked for the U.S. Capitol giving tours, running education programs, and developing new tours.

Following almost eight years with Capitol, Andrew decided to join Unscripted Tours in telling the varied stories of Washington D.C. and the history of the United States. He has a personal passion for folk tales, mythology, religious studies, and dark history. Andrew also enjoys telling stories as a Dungeon Master in games of Dungeons and Dragons.
